As a caregiver/companion (m/f/d), you have an important and exciting job that requires social competence, motivation, and empathy. With us, you will learn everything you need to handle and assist people in need of care in their daily lives. Your tasks as a caregiver include providing suitable activities to stimulate the sensory and cognitive functions of those in your care. The goal is to motivate and accompany the individuals in their daily lives. Your presence helps alleviate fears, and you are available for personal conversations and questions.

Welcome to our part-time qualification program for aspiring caregiving professionals! We place great importance on the personal suitability of our participants. The basic requirements for caregivers include:

  • Positive attitude towards sick, disabled, and elderly people

  • Social competence and communication skills

  • Observational skills and perceptiveness

  • Empathy and relational skills

  • Willingness to engage in non-verbal communication

  • Imagination, creativity, and flexibility

  • Calmness in dealing with unusual behaviors

  • Psychological stability, self-reflection ability, and the capacity to set boundaries

  • Teamwork and reliability

For performing caregiving tasks in nursing facilities, no specific therapeutic or nursing qualification is required. However, we do require certain qualifications, including an orientation internship or at least 3 months of professional experience in the field of caregiving. This allows individuals to gain initial impressions and assess their suitability for the profession.

Our qualification program is aimed at women and men of various ages with experience in the care or support of elderly people. This includes individuals who are already working in care facilities or have completed an internship. The training serves to consolidate professional skills and requires regular continuing education for knowledge updates and reflection on professional practice.
