German for Medical Professionals: Communication Training and Preparation for the Specialized Language Exam. This course aims to enable medical professionals to communicate effectively in their everyday work. It also serves as preparation for the specialized language exam with the medical association. The focus is on communication with patients, including taking medical histories and handling various conversational situations in a medical context. Additionally, the course addresses the specifics of doctor-patient interactions in Germany, examination methods, and conversations with colleagues and staff.

 

The communication training is aimed at international doctors who already have advanced German language skills.

 

  • Doctor-patient conversations, e.g., during anamnesis

  • Anamnesis documentation

  • Doctor-to-doctor conversations, e.g., during patient presentations

  • Conversations with medical staff in the clinical context

  • Reading of medical articles

  • Exam simulation

Our nursing school is easily accessible and centrally located at Elberfelderstr. 84, 58095 Hagen. Soon, you will find us at our new, modern Health Campus in the old Schraubenfabrik. Here, learning will take place in a unique atmosphere.

Our instructors form a strong team of qualified and dedicated professionals with many years of experience. They prepare you optimally for future professional requirements. All our instructors not only pursue the qualification goals but also consider individual prerequisites and support you with advice and assistance.

Upon successful completion, you will be able to conduct a doctor-patient conversation. The course also aims to provide intensive exam preparation and to teach and expand medical terminology, enhancing both oral communication with colleagues and patients and the writing of standardized medical reports.
