The skills assessment is intended for trained healthcare professionals who obtained their professional qualification abroad. As part of the application for recognition as a nursing professional (according to German training regulations) with the competent District Government of Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia, you can choose to undergo a skills assessment. Once you have received a notification from the District Government allowing participation in the skills assessment, you can proceed with the registration.

The skills assessment includes an oral and practical examination.
1. Oral Examination
The oral examination takes place at our nursing school, allowing you to present your theoretical knowledge in an interactive conversation. Our experienced instructors create a supportive environment, aiming to get to know you as you are – directly and authentically.
2. Practical Examination
The practical exam occurs directly at your workplace. Here, you have the chance to demonstrate your practical skills in a real working environment. This direct approach enables us to assess your adaptability and abilities in the field of nursing.
3. Result
After the examination, you will be informed orally about whether you have passed the exam. A written confirmation of the results of the skills assessment will be sent to you by the relevant district or state government.
If you pass both parts of the skills assessment, you can apply for the issuance of your professional permit certificate. We are here to support you throughout the entire process.
Our nursing school is easily accessible and centrally located at Elberfelderstr. 84, 58095 Hagen. Soon, you will find us at our new, modern Health Campus in the old Schraubenfabrik. Here, learning will take place in a unique atmosphere.
