Your Ticket to the World of Nursing - 1-Year Nursing Assistant Training

Our full-time training is designed for those who aim to complete a 1-year nursing assistant training program full-time and wish to fully focus on their education. Admission requirements include, in addition to physical and mental suitability, at least a 9th-grade school diploma and German language skills at the B2 level. The 1-year nursing assistant training consists of both practical and theoretical components. At least 700 hours are allocated to theoretical and practical instruction, and at least 950 hours are dedicated to practical training at your training provider and other involved institutions.

In exceptional cases, nursing assistant training can be pursued without a school diploma if a positive suitability assessment is provided. However, please note that completing the 1-year nursing assistant training without a school diploma may prevent subsequent access to the 3-year generalist nursing training program. Our goal is to offer every interested individual the opportunity to complete the generalist 1-year nursing assistant training with us. All of our training models provide you with the pathway to enter the three-year training program for a registered nurse.
